Surprisingly as good or better than SAW. - 4.75 out of 5 (2/17/2006)
I avoided this at the theater because I thought, "What is Saw without the suspense of guessing who the killer is?" Well, it turns out that I did myself a big disservice. I was amazed at how cleverly written Saw II was. Yeah, at the end you can say to yourself, "Oh if they just would of ....." or "Wouldn't they have checked ....." but this is a minor complaint about a great horror film among a sea of horrible horror films that plague us today. Insane! Simply Insane! - 5 out of 5 (2/16/2006)
If you haven't seen this movie, see it! But watch the first Saw before you see this one, since the second one refers back to parts of the first one!
With more people, a better storyline, more gore, creative killings, and two twists in one - you've got yourself a realbest one I've seen since the first Saw! To me, it is up there with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Exorcist as one of the best horror films ever
